About You.
Name:
Isa
Age:
14
Your Character
Character Name:
Adrianne Maria Carroll-Greyson
Riding Level:
Intermediate (showing at 3'3")
Age:
14
Gender:
Female
Height:
5'2"
Hair Color:
Brown
Eye Color:
Hazel
Build:
Slim; Short; Doesn't look as athletic as she is
Clothing Style:
Casual and strictly comfortable; Usually just jeans and a t-shirt
Personality:
Possibly the youngest at Winner's Circle, Adrianne is the quiet type of girl, sensitive but strong, smart (academically, at least) and sometimes sarcastic. She is not much of a 'natural' and definitely not an expert when it comes to horsemanship, but she learns fast and loves the equine world enough to make up for it. She loves reading, writing stories with her best friends and their crushes in them, watching scary movies, and jumping grids. She doesn't like people who don't do their job, people who lie, and friends who don't want to trust her. She has a secret fear of the dark, and she is very good at Math, though she hates school most of the time.
History:
As long as she could remember, Adrianne was riding... at a place called Babblebrook, which was basically a resort where teenage grooms plopped kids onto ponies, hopped on behind them, and galloped the ponies around while the kids cowered in between the arms holding the reins. After awhile Adrianne knew how to ride on her own there, but her mom didn't like the style, which was basically just yell at the pony and neck rein to avoid the trees. Mrs. Greyson enrolled her in English riding lessons at the age of 8. Adrianne's short attention span made her quit after two months, but at 10 she started again, and stuck with it. Still, she has never owned a horse.
Other:
*removed*... and we should get more younger characters, since the age range did say 'over 10'.
Sample RP:
"Listen, I don't like you, and you don't like me, so let's just forget all that and at least try to be friends," she murmured, frowning fiercely at the liver-chestnut horse's neck down in front of her. "Just for this lesson, all right?"
That was the drawback to not owning a horse--you always had to borrow a school pony, and after awhile they got sick of you because you weren't a beginner they could take advantage of. Adrianne gave the mare a squeeze to start out, and then sighed when she moved into a walk that covered 2 inches of ground a stride, at the most. Adrianne gave the mare a kick, ignoring the pair of ears that pinned back at her.
"Now, what do I always tell you? Forward walk, girls, and don't forget to sit up..." Adrianne did as her teacher asked, but had to give a couple of swift kicks to the mare to get an acceptable walk. As they continued on around the ring, the sun low in the sky, Adrianne looked at her shadow on the arena wall and smiled at the horseback riding girl there. So she was on one of the laziest horses in the barn. Big deal. This was still way better than Biology class.
